Charity biography

In 1986, Domingo performed at benefit concerts to raise funds for the victims of 1985 Mexico City earthquake.

In 2003, performed in Cancun to benefit the Ciudad de la Alegria Foundation, a foundation that provides assistance and lodging to people in need.

In 2006, he sang at the Hurricane Katrina Gala Benefit Concert, “A Night For New Orleans” at the New Orleans Arena.

In 2007, he and Katherine Jenkins performed in a charity concert in Athens to raise funds to aid the conflict in Darfur, organized by Doctors Without Borders.

Domingo is an ambassador for Hear The World, an orgaization that raises awareness about hearing loss.
