Daniel Craig, Sting, Bette Midler, Mariska Hargitay and Katie Couric are just a few of the acclaimed artists and stars auctioning meet-and-greets, set visits and VIP tickets to benefit World Wide Orphans as part of its online charity auction at www.charitybuzz.com/worldwideorphans.

Some of the incredible items up for auction include:

Sting is auctioning two tickets to “An Evening With Sting” as he performs his most celebrated songs, accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, at the Verizon Ampitheatre in Irvine, CA on June 16, 2010, with a rare meet-and-greet with the renowned artist before the show.
Daniel Craig, one of Hollywood’s hottest leading men, is auctioning a visit to the film set of Cowboys and Aliens, directed by Jon Favreau, where the highest bidder and a guest will meet Daniel Craig in Santa Fe, New Mexico this summer.

Will Ferrell To Join Stars At Charity Story Time Celebration

Milk+Bookies – a charity that inspires children to give back, using books as currency – will hold its first ever Story Time Celebration on Sunday, February 28, and a whole bunch of celebrities have been invited.

Expected to be at the event are Daniel Dae Kim [Lost], Jason Biggs [American Pie], Will Ferrell, Jennifer Garner, Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl, Jonah Hill [Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Superbad], Dermot Mulroney [The Wedding Date, Must Love Dogs], Marlon Wayans [Scary Movies], Rainn Wilson [The Office], Jayma Mays [Glee], Jennie Garth, Peter Facinelli [Twilight] and many others.

The event – to be held at the Skirball Cultural Center, 2701 Sepulveda Blvd, LA – is a family fun day featuring celebrity readers, story inspired arts & crafts, photo flip-books, literary characters, yummy lunch and of course, milk & cookies!

Stars Line Up To Celebrate Teenage Cancer Trust Concerts

The Teenage Cancer Trust is about to celebrate 10 years of music and comedy concerts at the Royal Albert Hall in London by unleashing an outstanding lineup of performances at the iconic venue throughout March.

Kicking off the event will be Them Crooked Vultures – the supergroup featuring Dave Grohl, John Paul Jones and Josh Homme. The band will hit the stage on March 22, followed the next night by a comedy performance from Jimmy Carr and friends.

Wednesday, March 24, will see a reformed Suede taking the spotlight. The following two nights will feature former Oasis superstar Noel Gallagher performing his only two solo shows of 2010.

“Ten years ago I got a call from Roger [Daltrey] asking me to join him for the first ever concert for the charity,” said Gallagher. “Since then I’ve been honoured to support this amazing charity. I’ve had some of the best nights I’ve ever had on a UK stage.”

The Arctic Monkeys will perform on March 27, followed by JLS on March 28 and The Specials on March 29. The weeklong series of concerts will come to an end on March 30 with a special performance by The Who.
