  <title>Royal Wedding Hat Raises Over £81,000 For Charity</title>
  <description>The charity auction for the unique hat worn by Princess Beatrice at the royal wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton has just ended, with over £81,000 being raised for two organizations close to the young princess&amp;#8217; heart.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The auction began on Thursday 12 May, with an initial £5,000 bid from &lt;span class="caps"&gt;UNICEF&lt;/span&gt; UK Ambassador Duncan Bannatyne. The final amount raised was £81,100.01.

  <description>The eBay bidding frenzy continues for Princess Beatrice&amp;#8217;s hat, with the current auction value standing at £20,300.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Princess Beatrice&amp;#8217;s hat, designed by Philip Treacy, was auctioned last week to raise funds for &lt;span class="caps"&gt;UNICEF&lt;/span&gt; and Children In Crisis.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;To date, the auction page on eBay has received over 600,000 views, with more than 44,000 eBay users registered to watch. The auction began on Thursday 12 May, with an initial £5,000 bid from &lt;span class="caps"&gt;UNICEF&lt;/span&gt; UK Ambassador Duncan Bannatyne.

  <description>The Wilding Foundation and its founder, actress/director/producer Anna Wilding, have announced a special treat for two Christchurch families affected by the devastating earthquake that struck the New Zealand city on February 22.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This coming weekend, The Wiggles &amp;#8211; the wildly successful Australian musical group catering to children under 5 years old &amp;#8211; will be making a special presentation of children&amp;#8217;s designer boots on behalf of New Zealand-born supermodel Kylie Bax and her Original NZ Boot Company, and Anna Wilding and the Wilding Foundation.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Wiggles will be in Christchurch next weekend. The two families, identified by the Wilding Foundation with help in one instance from The Salvation Army, are &amp;#8220;thrilled&amp;#8221;. The presentation will take place at one of the group&amp;#8217;s weekend concerts.

  <title>Kylie Minogue Joins The Wiggles For UNICEF</title>
  <description>Pop star Kylie Minogue has teamed up with Australian children&amp;#8217;s group The Wiggles for a new song, with performance royalties going to &lt;span class="caps"&gt;UNICEF&lt;/span&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Monkey Man&lt;/em&gt; &amp;#8211; a cover of a song oringinally recorded in 1969 by reggae group The Maytals &amp;#8211; features on the Wiggles&amp;#8217; latest children&amp;#8217;s album, &lt;em&gt;Go Bananas&lt;/em&gt;, which is to released worldwide today, March 23. The band – made up of Anthony Field, Murray Cook, Sam Moran, and Jeff Fatt – have been &lt;span class="caps"&gt;UNICEF&lt;/span&gt; Australia Goodwill Ambassadors since February, 2008, and are helping &lt;span class="caps"&gt;UNICEF&lt;/span&gt; work towards the Millennium Development Goal (&lt;span class="caps"&gt;MDG&lt;/span&gt;) to reduce by half the proportion of people without access to safe water and basic sanitation by 2015. With album and ticket sales in the millions, The Wiggles have picked up a swag of celebity fans, including Coldplay&amp;#8217;s Chris Martin, who met the band and covered one of their songs during his recent tour of Australia.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;All performance royalties from this track will go to &lt;span class="caps"&gt;UNICEF&lt;/span&gt;, and &lt;span class="caps"&gt;UNICEF&lt;/span&gt; Australian &lt;span class="caps"&gt;CEO&lt;/span&gt; Carolyn Hardy says the organization is thrilled that the superstars have teamed up to help vulnerable children around the world.
