Charity biography

Bill Cosby is well known for his views on the fact that many African American teenagers put higher priorities on sports, fashion, and “acting hard” than on education, self-respect, and self-improvement, and has made a plea for families to educate their children on the many different aspects of American culture. He has made many speeches campaigning for this to happen.

In 1997, his son was shot dead in cold blood, and the family established the Hello Friend/Ennis William Cosby Foundation to provide funds for education of disadvantaged youths.
