The Dixie Chicks are a multiple Grammy Award-winning country music group, composed of Martie Maguire, Natalie Maines, and Emily Robison.

They are avid supporters of Conservation International.

On April 2, 2008, Al Gore that the Dixie Chicks and fellow country artist Toby Keith will appear in a commercial to promote Gore’s “We Campaign” initiative to raise awareness about climate change and what Americans can do to help the environment.
