  <title>Liam Gallagher Signs Guitar For Animal Charity</title>
  <description>Oasis lead-singer Liam Gallagher has signed a classic Epiphone Casino guitar with All Saints wife Nicole Appleton, their Dachshund &amp;#8216;Ruby Tuesday&amp;#8217; and TV vet Marc Abraham in the Gibson Guitar Showroom in Central London to launch &lt;span class="caps"&gt;PUP&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span class="caps"&gt;AID&lt;/span&gt; 2010 &amp;#8211; the UK&amp;#8217;s first charity boutique music festival and fun celebrity-judged dog show.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span class="caps"&gt;PUP&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span class="caps"&gt;AID&lt;/span&gt; 2010 &amp;#8211; taking place in Brighton on Sept 19th &amp;#8211; aims to raise awareness about the cruel industry of puppy farming &amp;#8211; basically the battery farming of dogs in the UK purely for profit.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Marc, who&amp;#8217;s the resident vet on ITV&amp;#8217;s This Morning and Sky1&amp;#8217;s My Pet Shame, commented: &amp;#8220;As a massive Oasis fan I&amp;#8217;m honoured Liam and Nicole are involved and helping me to promote dog welfare as well as raising much-needed funds for both rescue and the research into the health and happiness of all dogs.&amp;#8221;

  <title>Gwyneth Paltrow And Famous Friends Hold Charity Sale</title>
  <description>British store Selfridges hosted a celebrity garage sale for charity in London during the weekend.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Items were donated by Gwyneth Paltrow, Little Britain star David Walliams, TV presenter Denise van Outen, Lily Allen, Davina McCall, members of the All Saints, Jodie Kidd and many more, with proceeds going to Mothers4Children, a charity dedicated to harnessing the compassion of women to create a powerful and enduring platform for change. Established by model and actress Lisa B, the foundation has trustees such as Yasmin Le Bon, Trinny Woodall, Anya Hindmarch and Natalie Massenet, and raises money for charities such as Kids Company and the Foundation for the Relief of Disabled Orphans.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Thousands of people turned out for the event, which featured 45 stalls &amp;#8211; many of which were managed by the stars themselves.

  <title>All Saints Get Naked For Charity Auction</title>
  <description>British girl band the All Saints have donated a drawing of themselves naked to a new charity auction.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The drawing – signed by all the members of the group – is one of 200 celebrity drawings and self-portraits about to go up for auction to benefit ex-footballer Bob Wilson&amp;#8217;s Willow Foundation, a charity set up after the death of Wilson&amp;#8217;s daughter from cancer. The organization provides days out for people with serious illnesses.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Joining the All Saints in donating drawings to the auction are Matt Damon, Jude Law, Gordon Ramsay, James Morrison, Bob Geldof, Matt Lucas, Beverley Knight, Martin Johnson, Wendy Richard, Vernon Kay, and many others.

  <description>All Saints singer Melanie Blatt has been crowned Celebrity Spectacle Wearer of 2008 at an awards ceremony in London.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Specsavers Spectacle Wearer of the Year Awards – held at the Waldorf Hilton – saw some of Britain&amp;#8217;s biggest spectacle wearing celebrities gather to raise funds for Kidscape, the first charity in the UK established specifically to prevent bullying and child sexual abuse.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;#8220;It&amp;#8217;s&amp;#8230; really important to demonstrate to children that glasses are cool as so many children are still bullied about wearing glasses,&amp;#8221; said Blatt, who had to start wearing glasses when her eyesight deteriorated after the birth of her daughter in 1998. &amp;#8220;I love to wear my specs to make a style statement, daytime and evening, and have a wardrobe of frames for different outfits and looks. I just pop my glasses on and I feel transformed. There are many iconic male specs wearers out there, like David Tennant and Alan Carr, but you don&amp;#8217;t see many females who wear their glasses in such an obvious and public way.&amp;#8221;
