Michael Bay Hosts Number 1 Super Bowl Charity Party

The 2nd annual Big Game Big Give invitation-only fundraiser benefiting The Giving Back Fund raised more than $200,000 for charity on Super Saturday, the night before Super Bowl in Miami.

With the help of host Transformers director Michael Bay, and his beautiful waterfront estate as its backdrop, over 350 celebrities, athletes and business leaders united for philanthropy. The spectacular event was produced by MMG, an event-marketing agency based in Miami and New York, and was voted the number one Super Bowl party on ESPN’s party report.

Included in the star-studded night was the debut of Aston Martin’s new four-door sports car, the Rapide. The elite crowd toasted Michael Bay alongside The Giving Back Fund’s Founder and President, Marc Pollick, while enjoying a pairing menu created by Jonathan Eismann’s Pacific Time restaurant and Dewar’s Signature cocktails. Each guest received a gift from Spanx for Men and Hydroxycut.

Babes On Bulls For Charity This Weekend

Larry Pollack, Owner and Founder of the rock-western restaurant/bar Saddle Ranch Chop House, and the visionary Founder of P.L.A.Y. (Providing Laughter and Amusement for Youth), will host the annual “Babes On The Bull” Charity Event on Sunday, January 31, 2010 from 12pm-5pm at Saddle Ranch Chop House on the Sunset Strip.

The “Babes on the Bull” event, one of two annual events benefiting P.L.A.Y., is an open-to-the-public event that will turn the traditional notion of a charity fundraiser upside down.

LTTS Exclusive: An Interview With Annalynne McCord

Best known for her portrayals of Eden Lord on Nip/Tuck and Naomi Clark on 90210, AnnaLynne McCord is one of the strongest young female philanthropists standing up in Hollywood and fighting for the charities she believes in.

Those charities include The Blind Project, which works towards partnering with indigenous organizations in South East Asia to protect those vulnerable to human trafficking and to provide restoration through education, life skills training and counseling, and the St. Bernard Project – which rebuilds homes for senior citizens, people with disabilities and families with children who cannot afford to have their homes rebuilt by contractors.

In this interview you’ll get a glimpse of her efforts to reach out to those in dire need for someone to stand up and fight in areas of their lives in which they can’t fight for themselves.
