Stars Race To Erase MS At Celebrity Charity Event

On Friday, April 29, Co-Chairs Nancy Davis and Tommy Hilfiger welcomed guests to the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza for the 18th Annual Race to Erase MS. The event raised more than $2 million to benefit the Nancy Davis Foundation for Multiple Sclerosis.

Celebrity guests at this year’s event included host, MS survivor and advocate Nancy Davis, along with Tia Carrere, Holly Marie Combs, Rachael Leigh Cook, Cindy Crawford, David Faustino, Daisy Fuentes, Debbie Gibson, Melissa Joan Hart, Samantha Harris, Nicky Hilton, Paris Hilton, LaToya Jackson, Sugar Ray Leonard, Jon Lovitz, Chris Massey, Kyle Massey, Dr. Lisa Masterson, Shaun Robinson, Matt Sorum, Raven Symone, Lea Thompson, Sela Ward and many more. After celebrities made their way down the red carpet, they stopped by the Windows Phone Booth to take photos and record videos to tweet. For each celebrity video tweeted Windows Phone donated $500 to the cause.

Joan Jett and The Blackhearts will headline the 18th annual Race To Erase MS on Friday, April 29, with Nicky and Paris Hilton scheduled to be among the guests.

The annual event raises money for the Nancy Davis Foundation for Multiple Sclerosis. This year’s event will be hosted by Nancy Davis and Tommy Hilfiger, with guests including Ed Begley Jr., Brooke Burke, Tia Carrere, Aaron Carter, Kristin Cavallari, Joan Collins, Holly Marie Combs, David Faustino, Daisy Fuentes, Greg Grunberg, Melissa Joan Hart, Anne Heche, Jon Lovitz, Shaun Robinson, Raven Symone and many more.

Co-Chairs Nancy Davis and Tommy Hilfiger welcome celebrity guests to the 18th Anniversary of Race to Erase MS themed Rock and Royalty. The event will feature live musical performances by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Clay Walker and more to be announced. Race to Erase MS will once again host an exciting celebrity fashion show featuring a sneak preview of Andrew Charles, the new fashion line by Andy Hilfiger, and feature a live auction called by Shaun Robinson and Mark Curry. Last weekend in Los Angeles celebrities showed up at infamous Saddle Ranch Chop House on Sunset Boulevard for the second annual ‘Babes on the Bull’ charity event to benefit P.L.A.Y. (Providing Laughter and Amusement for Youth), an organization that collects new toys, books and games and distributes them to children in hospitals, shelters and other organizations.

Guests packed the Saddle Ranch for an afternoon of ’LA’s hottest girls’ riding the mechanical bull for charity with extra entertainment in the form of fire dancers (Fire Groove) and a live auction which included amazing seats at a Laker’s game, VIP booths at LA’s hippest clubs, golf outings, LA Dodgers baseball tickets and others. The best aspect of the auction was that everyone entering the Ranch-including the general public- received a hundred-dollar voucher to use towards auction items.

Hollywood Knights Hit The Court In Norway

The Hollywood Knights celebrity basketball team has arrived in Norway to raise money for children with cancer.

Pop star Aaron Carter will head a spectacular lineup of stars on the court at Haukelandshallen Arena in Bergen for the 2nd annual Hollywood Knights Celebrity Charity Basketball Game. Joining him against a dream team of Norwegian celebrities for an unforgettable game to raise money for charity will be Desperate Housewives’ Andrea Bowen, Joy Lauren and Josh Henderson, as well as Stephen Colletti (Laguna Beach, One Tree Hill_), Paula Trickey (_Pacific Blue, The O.C.), model Marcus Schenckenberg, Wesley Jonathan (What I Like About You_), Adrian R’Mante (_The Suite Life of Zack and Cody), Kyle Lowder (Days of Our Lives, The Bold and the Beautiful_), Blake Lewis (American Idol_), Chris Richardson (American Idol_), Adam Sevani (Step Up 2: The Streets_), Jon Chu (Step Up 2: The Streets) and Denyce Lawton (Tyler Perry’s House of Payne).
