Khloe Kardashian held her first ever toy drive in Dallas yesterday to benefit the local Children’s Hospital.

“As you may know, I already do a lot of work with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and now that I live here, I want to start doing work with this hospital,” she blogged before the event. "I will sign autographs, take photos, whatever you dolls want, as long as you have an unwrapped (still in the packaging though) toy for children of all ages (especially stuff for teens) to donate!

“For health purposes, we will not be accepting stuffed animals, or anything unpackaged for that matter, with the exception of books. In my past experience with this, I’ve found that fun card games and things the children can play with in bed always make the best presents. Here are a few examples of fun things to bring: Monopoly Deal, Scrabble Slam Cards, SORRY! Revenge Card Game, Yahtzee Hands Down Card Game, etc. Target or Walmart are both great places to find games like these!”

Stars To STOMP Out Bullying At Z100 Jingle Ball

Z100, New York’s Hit Music Station, has unveiled the star-studded line-up and special guest presenters for the annual holiday concert Z100’s Jingle Ball 2011, presented by Aeropostale, which will take place on Friday, December 9, 7:30 p.m. ET at Madison Square Garden.

Mayor Bloomberg has issued a special proclamation officially declaring December 9, 2011 Z100’s Jingle Ball Day in New York City.

Late last week, Demi Lovato joined Z100’s JJ at Aeropostale’s Times Square store to make the official announcement of the all-star lineup for Z100’s Jingle Ball, which includes: Lady Gaga, Pitbull, Kelly Clarkson, David Guetta, LMFAO, Foster the People, Gym Class Heroes and Hot Chelle Rae. Celebrities To Wear Purple For Spirit Day

The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) will join millions of lesbian gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people and allies by participating in Spirit Day and wearing purple on October 20, 2011.

Wearing purple on this day symbolizes support for LGBT people and against bullying of LGBT teens.

GLAAD is working with organizations including the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), the PACER Center, GLSEN, GSA Network, the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), PFLAG and The Trevor Project as part of National Bullying Prevention Month to inspire Americans to wear purple on Spirit Day.

Soles4Souls, the international shoe charity, has announced a complete line-up of A-list celebrities who decided to take off their shoes for a good cause.

What began as a staff shoe drive internally at NBCUniversal 30 Rock studios for the charity’s Japan relief efforts quickly caught on to stars such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Sir Elton John, sisters Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian, Jessica Simpson, Justin Timberlake, John Krasinski, Michelle Pfeiffer, Mariska Hargitay, Yoko Ono, the TODAY show cast, and many more. Jennifer Wilson, an NBCUniversal employee who helped initiate the celebrity shoe auction, said it was the kindness of organizations like Soles4Souls during Hurricane Katrina that drew her to help.

“I’m a Louisiana girl with family in New Orleans, so I saw first-hand the destruction, pain, and uncertainty that comes with a natural disaster,” Wilson said. “I started this to help those that helped us.”

Stars To Go Barefoot For Charity

Soles4Souls has announced its schedule for Barefoot Week 2011, which includes media events and shoe distributions in seven cities.

As it does each year during the first week of June, the non-profit organization will be distributing thousands of pairs of new shoes in the United States while it also collects much needed donations through shoe drives at schools, churches and community centers. The charity is asking Americans to choose one day during the week to go barefoot—at the office, at school or in public— to raise awareness for the millions of people worldwide who live in extreme poverty and can’t afford shoes.

“It’s an honor to donate shoes to help Soles4Souls as they do incredible things for the less fortunate people in this world,” said Jessica Simpson. “I encourage everyone to lend support.”

The Eagles will bring their Long Road to Eden to a special celebrity charity event to honor their manager Irving Azoff and his wife next month.

The Azoffs are set to receive the Spirit Award at City of Hope’s annual Spirit of Life gala concert on May 7 at Universal Studios’ Gibson Amphitheater. Joining the Eagles on stage will be MC Billy Bush and fellow performers Darren Criss, Big Time Rush, Greyson Chance and Cody Simpson.

Ke$ha and Iggy Pop have joined PETA’s campaign to stop the barbaric slaughter of seals in Canada.

According to PETA, “Each year, the Canadian government allows sealers to descend on the ice to club hundreds of thousands of seals to death and sell the animals’ pelts on the international fur market. Sealers routinely hook these fuzzy creatures in the eyes, cheeks, or mouth to avoid damaging their fur and then drag the animals across the ice. The seal-hunters crush baby seals’ skulls in with their clubs before they skin them.”

A number of celebrities are giving up their Facebook and Twitter accounts as part of a new charity initiative for Alicia Keys’ Keep A Child Alive.

The campaign – called Digital Life Sacrifice – will see stars such as Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake and Usher stay away from their computers from December 1 until Keys’ charity raises $1 million.

Eva Longoria To Launch TwitChange Celebrity Charity Auction

The Desperate Housewives superstar has enlisted the help of the stars to launch TwitChange, a massive online auction that will hit the Net on September 15. The idea is simple: TwitChange is the only global celebrity auction where Twitter users can bid to get three things: be followed by their favorite celebrity on Twitter, retweeted, or mentioned by them in a special tweet!

All proceeds from the TwitChange celebrity auction will provide AHomeInHaiti.org the means to ﬁnish rebuilding the Miriam Center. The Miriam Center houses, educates and loves on Haitian children with cerebral palsy, severe autism, and other major life challenges and is one of the only facilities of its kind in Haiti. The current facility houses children in the earthquakeʼs aftermath and is extremely overcrowded. These kids need and deserve a permanent home.

Khloe Kardashian spent all day Friday blogging and tweeting about Penn State’s Dance Marathon (THON), the biggest student-run philanthropy in the world, resulting in a huge spike in donations, as well as making “THON” a global trending topic on Twitter.

THON is a yearlong effort to raise funds and awareness for the fight against pediatric cancer and has raised $61 million since 1977.

On her official website, she wrote: "Last month Lamar and I took part in a holiday special called HOLIDAY OF STARS where we were introduced to a little girl named Isabelle whose best friend Jasmina was battling Leukemia. Well yesterday Lamar and I received the devastating news that Jasmina, just 6-years-old, had lost her fight against Leukemia. On Friday, August 21, Little League Baseball will launch a very special online auction featuring over 40 balls signed by stars such as Zac Efron, Drew Barrymore, Billy Crystal, James Earl Jones, Charlie Sheen, Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Larry King, the Kardashian family (Kim, Khloe & Kourtney), James Denton and Milo Ventimiglia. Kim Kardashian has blogged about her recent trip to Africa for Russell Simmons’ Diamond Empowerment Fund.

“The Diamond Empowerment Fund has brought us to Botswana to show us how the diamond industry has changed the life of the Botswana people,” she wrote. “I used to assume after watching the movie Blood Diamonds that diamonds were not acceptable to buy from Africa. However, it is the complete opposite! When diamonds are purchased, the whole country can survive! In Botswana there used to be 10 schools but the diamond industry has now funded 300 schools!”

After visiting a school for children of the miners, Kardashian – accompanied by boyfriend Reggie Bush and sister Khloe – visited the new African Leadership Academy.

A group of celebrities have signed the roller skates they wore at the Pepsi Throwback Launch Party last month and are auctioning them for charity.

Kelly Osbourne, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Vanessa Minnillo, Lacey Schwimmer, Lauren Conrad, Holly Madison and Playmate of the Year Sarah Jean Underwood have all donated the skates they wore at the event. All proceeds from the auction will go to Meals On Wheels West, a charity that serves meals to the home-bound in Santa Monica and surrounding areas.

On Saturday, July 11, the Playboy Mansion and the Kardashians will host the ‘Aces & Angels Celebrity Poker Tournament’ to benefit Aces and Angels, an organization which raises money for families of Southern California firefighters who were either injured or killed in the line of duty.

Kim Kardashian will host the event alongside sisters Khloe and Kourtney, and their mother Kris, as dozens of Playboy bunnies, playmates, top models, Hollywood celebrities, and the poker stars attend the highly anticipated event being held at the Playboy Mansion.

A number of celebrities have used their personal blogs to talk about Earth Day, which was celebrated around the globe yesterday, April 22.

“Earth Day is an occasion where we all take the time to become more conscious of the way we treat our planet, but in reality, it’s something we should be aware of every single day,” wrote Mischa Barton on her blog. "It shouldn’t take a holiday to remind us of the damage we’ve done to the earth. Every single day should be spent doing little things to conserve energy and water. Walk places! Ride your bike! Not only is it good for you, but you won’t be emitting pollutants into the earth’s atmosphere. Obviously, conserving water is a big (and easy) thing to do. Don’t leave water running when you’re brushing your teeth, limit yourself to 5-10 minute showers, make sure your faucets are never dripping, etc. Another one of my favorite methods is to go to the grocery store with reusable shopping bags; it’s a great way to save paper and plastic.

“One difference between Earth Day and your average day is that today is one that should really be celebrated! Go outside and enjoy the beauty of nature!!! Have a picnic with your friends or family…trust me, there’s no better way to spend an afternoon.”
