Stars To Attend Gatsby-Themed Charity Night

A return to the roaring good times of opulent fashion, decadent delicacies and lively entertainment will be a hotsy-totsy evening for all at Wheeling & Dealing for the After-School All-Stars, a Gatsby-themed night at the legendary Petersen Automotive Museum on Thursday, May 30, 2013 from 7:00pm – 11:00pm.

Top poker players, esteemed Angelinos and celebrity supporters including Jamie Gold (2006 World Series of Poker Champion), Damian Whitewood (Dancing with the Stars), Stephen Martines (Vampire Diaries, and soon to premiere on USA’s Burn Notice), Prophet (record producer, 2101 Records recording artist), LaLa Romero (recording artist), Austin Brown (recording artist), Jessi Malay (recording artist) and others to be announced soon, will be gaming for a good cause while being transported back to a Jazz Age Los Angeles with classic automobiles, trains and lots of whimsical memorabilia from the era.

Some of Hollywood’s hottest stars spent Valentine’s Day bringing smiles and joy to the deserving children at Children's Hospital Los Angeles at Trueheart Events’ 1st Annual All You Need Is Love Valentine’s Day Party.

Patients and their families were treated to an unforgettable event where they were showered with love and attention.

Chelsie Hightower of “Dancing With The Stars” traveled all the way from Utah to spend Valentine’s Day at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and the kids loved spending time with her. Chelsie said while she is not particularly romantic herself, she would much prefer to spend the day giving back and making a difference in the lives of children. Chelsie was also catching up with her friend, and “Dancing With The Stars” champion JR Martinez at the party, who said how excited he is to become a father when he welcomes his daughter this year. J.R. gave the patients his undivided attention as he listened intently to their stories. He was overheard sharing words of encouragement with the children and telling them how much they inspired him.

Stars And Strikes Celebrity Charity Bowling And Poker

A host of stars – including Austin Anderson (pictured below), television creator Seth MacFarlane, singers Austin Brown, Macy Gray, Charice Pempengco, Nick Cannon, singer and actress Keke Palmer, actors Boo Boo Stewart from the Twilight Saga, Eddie Steeples from My Name Is Earl, American Idol host Kara Dioguardi and many more – attended the fourth annual Stars & Strikes Celebrity Bowling and Poker Tournamnet in Studio City on Wednesday.

The event benefited A Place Called Home, a South Central-based charity that provides a safe, home-like environment for thousands of at-risk youths.

Celebs Set for Stars & Strikes

A Place Called Home is set to celebrate its Fourth Annual “Stars and Strikes” celebrity bowling and poker tournament, and is expecting a host of celebrity supporters such as Keke Palmer, Paul Wall and Austin Brown to come out and have some fun.

Actors and singers including Deryck Whibley of Sum 41, LaLa and Jason Derulo; Booboo Stewart from the Twilight Saga, Eddie Steeples from My Name Is Earl, Eden Sher from The Middle, and Gregory Michael from Greek are all planning to try their luck at the event on March 10th. Movie producer Ari Gold, music producers Rodney Jerkins and J.R. Rotem are also planning to play.
