Celebrity Kids Help Children At Anti-Bullying Concert

Kids Help Children, the fun-filled fair, rockin’ concert, and empowering fundraising event, returns to the Hilton Anaheim on Sunday, August 19, 2012 to benefit PACER National Bullying Prevention Center and Champions Against Bullying.

Kids Help Children promises a full afternoon of wholesome family entertainment with live music, kid-friendly refreshments, and lots of celebrity surprises! Young stars already confirmed to appear include: Kenton Duty (Shake It Up!, Lost), Sammi Hanratty (Suite Life), Dakota Hood (Hunger Games), Ashlee Keating (Musician), Dillon Lane (Bucket & Skinner’s Epic Adventures), Ryan Ochoa (Pair of Kings, iCarly), and Stefanie Scott (A.N.T. Farm). The casts of Shake It Up, Sofia the First, and Baby Daddy, including Ashley Argota, Avan Jorgia, and Sterling Knight are also invited. And after the red carpet arrival, attendees will have a chance to meet, get autographs from, and take pictures with their favorite celebrities.

Throughout the afternoon, guests can enjoy balloon artists, bounce houses, face painting, visiting SeaWorld animals followed by an amazing concert featuring Savvy & Mandy (Radio Disney), Austin Anderson (Victorious), Temara Melek, and other surprise performers – all while making a difference in the fight against bullying. There will also be a raffles, auctions and cool prize giveaways.

The event raised approximately $200,000, thanks in large part to the evenings’ events, including a star-studded, exciting live auction where celebrities including Debby Ryan (Jessie), Tahj Mowry (Baby Daddy), Allie Gonino (The Lying Game), Alice Greczyn (The Lying Game), Cassie Scerbo (Make it or Break it), Geno Segers (Pair of Kings) and more caused a commotion as they competed to sponsor wells to be built in developing countries from Columbia to Uganda to Swaziland. Stars Come Out For Pediatric AIDS Family Gala

It wasn’t your typical Saturday at Skylight Soho. Earlier this month, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation hosted its 18th Annual Kids for Kids Family Carnival in New York City.

Skylight Soho was transformed into an “adventure through Africa” produced by the extremely talented David Stark Design and Production company. Families, celebrities and all other supports of this amazing cause came out to show their unmatched support for a cause to near and dear to their hearts. Over 600 supporters came to this year’s event, raising close to $1 million.

Many famous faces came out to shower their support, such as Bridget Moynahan, Ashley Argota, Sami Gayle, Kyle MacLachlan, Karlie Kloss, Cory Nichols, Sinorice Moss, Alexa Gerasimovich, Ashley Gerasimovich, Mackenzie Aladjem, Phoenix List, Spencer List and Dhani Jones.

Hollywood celebrities and residents will walk around the clock this Saturday, July 30, to battle cancer at the American Cancer Society's second annual Relay For Life of Hollywood.

Local elected officials will be present at this life-changing event to raise funds to support free services for local cancer patients and their families. Funds also support the Society’s critical cancer research, community early detection and prevention education programs and advocacy efforts.

Steve-O To Race In Celebrity Charity Go Kart Event

Teen Stars Front Anti-Cyberbullying Campaign For Nickelodeon

iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove is fronting a new TV campaign to raise awareness of cyberbullying.

As part of Nickelodeon’s The Big Help, a long-term effort to connect kids to issues and information important in their lives, the multiplatform, interactive initiative will include a website that will highlight Common Sense Media’s digital citizenship and anti-bullying advice — Common Sense’s “Rules of the Road” — to help kids practice safe and responsible online and mobile behavior.

The campaign will also include PSAs featuring the stars from Nickelodeon’s hit live-action series, including iCarly’s Miranda Cosgrove and Nathan Kress, who will share tips developed from Common Sense Media’s groundbreaking digital citizenship curriculum for avoiding and reporting cyberbullying. True Jackson, VP’s Ashley Argota and Gage Golightly from The Troop will appear in PSAs that will be featured on Nickelodeon channels and websites, including Nickelodeon, TeenNick and Nick.com.

Kids And Celebrities To Celebrate Summer At LA Mission

Kids will celebrate summer and charity with a little celebrity help this Saturday, August 28, at the Los Angeles Mission.

Fifth Street between Wall and San Pedro will be transformed into a playground with food, games, prizes, crafts, face painting tent, giant inflatable slide and more. Children who live in the area will have a day of carefree summer fun at the Los Angeles Mission’s Annual End of Summer Block Party. There will be health screenings, a reading tent and lots of books given away.

Free backpacks will be filled with school supplies and handed out to those in need at the event. The Los Angeles Mission’s End of Summer Block Party fills a large need for the economically challenged families of Skid Row. With the backpacks and school supplies, families won’t have to decide between food and school. It gives children who experience fear, hunger, health issues and stress on a daily basis a chance to spend the day just being a kid!

JoJo To Headline I Heart Haiti Kids Concert

Teen superstar JoJo will headline a benefit concert at Six Flags Magic Mountain in California on Saturday February 27 to benefit the children of Haiti. The concert will feature other teen performers such as multi-platinum teen sensation Romeo Miller and the College Boyys, Anne Marie Perez De Tagle, Cymphonique and the Fabulous Girls, Lil King, Lil Fresh Boyz, Jacob Latimore, Logan Charles, along with actors Ashley Argota, Ariel Winter and Kyla Pratt.

The concert will benefit the I Heart Haiti Kids in an effort to send books and help rebuild schools in Haiti. “As a student at the University of Southern California as well as an athlete, I realize how important it is for every child to have a proper education, it should not be a luxury but a necessity,” says Romeo. “As a survivor of Hurricane Katrina and I know the importance of rebuilding your life after a tragedy. I believe we have to do all we can to help the children of Haiti, it is the right thing to do,” adds Miller.

Six Flags Friends, the philanthropic arm of Six Flags Magic Mountain has joined with the group to help support their efforts. The I Heart Haiti Kids organization’s goal is to raise awareness, collect books and raise funds to rebuild schools for Haiti kids. Anyone bringing two new or gently used school or children’s books (appropriate for K-12 school-age children) to Six Flags Magic Mountain the weekends of Feb. 27-28, March 6-7 or March 13-14, will receive a discounted admission ticket of $24.99. The first 3,000 people bringing books on February 27 will be admitted to the free concert with their paid park admission.
