Faith Evans Charity Work, Events and Causes
Charity biography
Faith Evans is the multi-talented singer, song-writer, actress, record producer and author. She began her huge career in 1993 when she moved to LA to persue her dreams of singing. After doing backing vocals for Christopher Williams and Al B. Sure, she became the first female signed by Puff Daddy’s record label. Under this label, she released three platinum albums, however in 2003 moved to Capitol Records.
She is also known, tragically, as the widow of Christopher Wallace, the ‘Notorious B.I.G.’. When Christopher was killed in a drive-by shooting in 1997, she released a song ’I’ll Be Missing You’ with Puff Daddy and 112, which was her best selling song to date and earned her a Grammy Award.
She also appeared in the musical film ‘Turn It Up’ and has released an award winning autobiography.
She recently donated items to Little Kids Rock, ready to be auctioned.
