Be A Winner - Bid On Charlie Sheen's Former Car For Charity

Charlie Sheen’s restored 1966 Ford Mustang is being auctioned by charitybuzz.com to raise funds for C5LA.

Sheen restored the Mustang to complete NASCAR specifications in 2006 and added his signature on the dashboard. This one-of-a-kind vehicle would cost approximately $300,000 to duplicate. Net proceeds benefit C5LA, a five-year youth leadership development program that begins with eighth graders and is designed to inspire high-potential, at-risk youth from under-resources environments in Los Angeles to obtain higher education and personal success.

Emmy Stars Sign Bottle For Charity

Beaulieu Vineyard, the great American winery at the heart of the Napa Valley with 111 years of history in fine winemaking, and the Official Wine Sponsor of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, has bottled up a very special way to benefit the Television Academy Foundation’s education programs.

BV created a custom-etched and painted, 27-liter bottle of the winery’s flagship Georges de Latour Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. The 27 liter is the largest bottle produced for the wine industry, holds the equivalent of 36 bottles of wine, stands 3.5 feet high and weighs over 110 pounds when full.

Vote For CHERUBS With Charlie Sheen

Last week, Charlie Sheen released a photo that showed a new side of him. He traded in his famous bowling shirts for a “Charlie’s CHERUBS” baseball jersey, asking his fans to vote to help critically ill babies win research money.

When Dawn M. Torrence Williamson looked at her computer screen and realized she was actually conversing with actor Charlie Sheen via Twitter, she could not believe her eyes. The day before, she had mentioned Sheen on the social network and asked for his help to raise awareness of her organization, CHERUBS – The Association of Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Research, Awareness and Support.

Charlie Sheen Raises $20,000 For Bashed Baseball Fan

Charlie Sheen brought his Violent Torpedo of Truth to San Francisco on Saturday and raised more than $20,000 for a baseball fan Bryan Stow’s on-going medical bills.

Stow was beaten into a coma at a San Francisco Giants game in March, and Sheen raised much-needed cash via merchandise sales, a pre-show collection and a personal donation.

“As a sports fan, Charlie was saddened by the Dodger Stadium assault of Bryan Stow,” said Sheen’s business manager Brian Klarberg. “Charlie is matching those fan contributions as well and topping off the contribution to the Bryan Stow Foundation to $20,000. A cheque will be given to the Foundation later this week.”

Charlie Sheen's Non-Violent Torpedo Of Charity

While visiting cities during his Violent Torpedo of Truth Tour, actor Charlie Sheen has surprised many with some spontaneous gestures of charity.

Besides donating part of the ticket proceeds of the Tour to disaster relief in Japan during the Toronto leg last month, Sheen tweeted fans to join him on a 2-kilometre walk to raise money for the Organization for Bipolar Affective Disorder, and he would match donations dollar for dollar.

Last week during the tour, Sheen’s publicist announced that profits made from merchandise sold at the San Francisco show at the weekend would be donated to the Bryan Stow Fund in support of a baseball fan that was severely beaten after a San Francisco Giants game. Doctors are trying to bring Stow out of a medically induced coma.

Charlie Sheen's Goddess Loves Being Vegan

One of Charlie Sheen’s “goddesses”, Rachel Oberlin (aka Bree Olsen), has talked to OK! magazine about why she loves being a vegan.

“I completely attribute my vegan diet to the book Skinny Bitch,” says the adult film actress and PETA supporter in the interview. "I was looking for a way to lose weight and they cleverly disguised their book. Had I known it was going to be about veganism, I would have never read it seeing I was a mid-western meat and potatoes kind of gal. I read the book in one sitting and changed my whole diet overnight. I lost all of the weight within a few months just by going vegan. In this era, it is easy to be vegan because there are so many options. I am a huge foodie and I don’t know if I would have been able to follow through had it not been for all of the great restaurants and selections at the grocery stores.

“Animal bi-products are so bad for our bodies, and I feel as though my body is now pure and clean. I have so much energy and life now. I also feel great knowing I don’t contribute to any deaths of any innocent creatures.”

Charlie Sheen To Hold Charity Baby Shower

Actor Charlie Sheen and his wife, Brooke, will hold a baby shower this weekend and donate many of the gifts to charity.

The couple is expecting twin boys in April, and told People.com about their decision to donate the gifts.

“I am invited,” said Sheen. “Apparently, I don’t have to do anything, just show up and collect gifts. But there will be more stuff that goes to charity. People that don’t need it get the most stuff, and that’s what’s wrong with the world.”

Jenny McCarthy And Jim Carrey Host Autism Fundraiser

Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey hosted a celebrity-studded fundraiser for autism research on Saturday night.

Sheen's Wedding Guests to Arrive Empty-Handed

When Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller walk down the aisle on May 30, 2008, their guests will not need to bring along a gift – the generous Two and a Half Men star is rejecting presents at his upcoming nuptials in favor of donations to Chrysalis.

A source tells the newspaper, “Charlie [Sheen] has been working with the group, which gets people off skid row, for many years, and the money will go to towards the charity’s big annual gala, the Butterfly Ball.”
