Singer-songwriter Graham Nash is making his 1970s song, “Our House,” available for purchase in support of Habitat For Humanity.

All proceeds from the sale of “Our House” on iTunes through January 2012 will help Habitat’s rebuilding efforts in Haiti.

“We have to share our good fortunes with those who don’t have any,” said Nash of his support for Habitat’s work in Haiti. “We need to share the love.”

Garth Brooks To Hit Dallas With Supercamp Charity Day

Next month, country music superstar Garth Brooks will make a special stop in Dallas to host his second annual Supercamp charity day.

Brooks will be joined by Dallas Cowboys Jason Witten at the event, which will see the two interact with nearly 200 children from the Dallas area Boys and Girls Club.  Boys who attend will be taught football basics while girls will be taught cheerleading and gymnastics.

Tickets are available to the general public with all proceeds going to Garth’s Teammates for Kids Foundation and Witten’s SCORE Foundation.

Garth Brooks Raises Charity Cash And Helps Economy

Country music legend Garth Brooks not only raised millions of dollars for charity last month, but also boosted the local Nashville economy.

The singer performed a nine shows at the Bridgestone Arena with his wife, Trisha Yearwood, in December, which raised over $3 million for the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee to benefit those affected by the Nashville floods in May that killed 22 people and caused $2 billion damage.

City officials have estimated that – by taking into account hotel revenue, parking and other services – the shows have generated a further $10 million to the city’s economy.

Garth Brooks Breaks Ticket Records With Charity Concert

A charity concert planned by Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood set a Tennessee record for ticket sales on Saturday.

140,000 tickets were sold in one day to the concerts, which will benefit victims of Nashville’s devastating floods that killed 22 people and caused $2 billion damage in May. Ticket sales have already raised $3.5 million for the charity.

For the first time since 1998, Garth Brooks is returning to Nashville to perform Friday, December 17th, 7:00 p.m., at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, benefiting The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee in support of all those affected by the disastrous flooding this past spring.

Toby Keith Raises Charity Cash

Toby Keith’s annual celebrity charity golf tournament last month raised a massive $600,000.

Held in Norman, Oklahoma, the Toby Keith and friends Golf Classic raised money for the OK Kids Korral, a 16-room guest lodge, which will house pediatric cancer patients and their families on the grounds of Oklahoma University Medical Center.

The golf tournament also featured a concert which included performances by David Allan Coe and Phil Vassar, as well as an auction that featured items donated by Miley Cyrus, Garth Brooks, Darius Rucker, Michael Phelps and Brett Farve. Two people paid $28,000 each for the chance to have dinner with Keith.

Toby Keith To Hold Annual Charity Golf Classic This Weekend

Celebrated comedian Larry The Cable Guy is the latest addition to Toby Keith’s seventh annual Toby Keith & Friends Golf Classic, set for May 21-22 in Norman, Oklahoma. He’ll join the event’s namesake as co-emcee for the dinner and auction the night before the golf outing. And he’s not the only late-breaking addition to the lineup.

Cincinnati Bengals defensive back and former OU Sooner Roy Williams is the newest celebrity golf participant. He’s also one of four NFL stars who contributed to the one-of-a-kind Triumph Rocket 3 motorcycle donated by Pros For Africa and adorned with autographs. Williams, along with Chicago Bear Tommie Harris, Minnesota Viking Adrian Peterson and Baltimore Raven Mark Clayton, traveled to Uganda in March to advocate and provide for children in the region.

Additional new auction items include tickets to The View, which have been added to a New York City package that also boasts tickets to Disney’s Mary Poppins on Broadway. The golf tournament is sold out with 36 teams, and more than 750 attendees are expected at Friday night’s dinner, concert and auction.

Country legend Garth Brooks and the Professional Bull Riders Inc (PBR) have announced a new partnership to benefit charity.

The singer launched Teammates for Kids 11 years ago to contribute financial resources to selected non-profit organizations that effectively serve and benefit children with an emphasis on health, education and inner city services, and the new partnership will see PBR raise $1 million for the charity in 2010.

Over $6 million raised by Garth Brooks is being given to charities in Los Angeles and San Diego this month to help people affected by last year’s devestating Californian wildfires.

The money was raised when Brooks played five shows in two days at the Staples Center in L.A. last January.

The money is being distributed to the charities by the McCormick Tribune Foundation, and will be granted to charities that provide aid to victims and their families, as well as to first responders of the Los Angeles and San Diego wildfires – including California firefighting departments and organizations in need of additional or replacement firefighting equipment.

Country music singer Garth Brooks will perform five concerts over two days, a rare endeavor in the music industry, to raise $3 million for the McCormick Tribune Foundation’s Southern California 2008 Fire Relief Campaign.

The proceeds will benefit victims of the wildfires that devastated parts of Los Angeles and San Diego last October and November, as well as provide equipment and financial support for Southern California fire departments.

This Friday, January 25, Brooks will perform the first concert at 6pm and follow with the second at 10pm. Then on Saturday he will play at 1pm, 5pm, and 9pm, all at STAPLES Center (owned by AEG) in Los Angeles.

Ben Affleck, Dakota Fanning, Eva Mendes, Garth Brooks, Jeremy Piven, Joaquin Phoenix, Morgan Freeman, and Reese Witherspoon have filmed a Public Service Announcement for all Americans, stating that the country’s health care and financial security crisis is about to explode. But if people on both sides of the issue would start a dialogue, the problems are not insurmountable.

The video is part of the American Association of Retired Persons’ (AARP) “Divided We Fail” project, an initiative that has just garnered support from the Entertainment Industry Foundation and the Motion Picture & Television Fund (MPTF).

“We need to build a national conversation around these issues,” said AARP CEO Bill Novelli, who is more than happy with the union. “The entertainment industry is uniquely suited to help us do that.”

Brooks Goes Pink For Breast Cancer

The fastest selling solo artist in music history, Garth Brooks, is to release two versions of his latest album, one dedicated exclusively to charity.

The Pink Edition of “Garth Brooks – The Ultimate Hits” will be released on November 6, and will only be available through Susan G. Komen for the Cure’s online Promise Shop. The CD packages will be priced at $15, with $10 going to Komen, whose mission is to find a cure for breast cancer.

The three-disc set includes 30 classics, plus 3 new songs, as well as a bonus track. It also features a DVD that contains 33 videos, including new and never-before-seen footage. The Pink Edition packages will also contain information on breast health and breast cancer, and an instructional card on breast self-examination.
