Darryl McDaniels

McDaniels is a spokesperson for DKMS. He performed at the charity’s 2007 gala at Capitale in NYC, and in 2006 spoke about marrow donation at a fundraiser for young New Yorkers (event was at Comix) and performed at a SATURN event in NYC at the Hardrock Cafe in Times Square – “Experience: Giving. Sound. Design.”

He helped recruit African Americans at the Entertainment Basketball Classics in Ruckers Park in NYC during the summer of 2006, and has attended several press conferences and done a photo shoot for DKMS.

Darryl received the Congressional “Angels in Adoption Award” for his work with children in foster care and promotion of adoption. He founded a summer camp, Camp Felix, to provide 150 foster children with a childhood experience. Camp Felix is part of Darryl’s Felix Organization.
