On Saturday, February 21st, Tag the World Charities partnered with the American Humane Film & Televisions Unit to host a star-studded party at Hollywood hotspot MyHouse.

Hosted by Amber Valletta and Robert Parks-Valletta, owners of Tag the World, stars came out in throngs to support the American Humane Film & Television Unit, best known for its’ famous movie end-credit, “No Animals Were Harmed”.

Celebrities who hit the red carpet for a good cause included: Madeline Zima (Californication), Tila Tequila, Bai Ling (Lost, Crank 2), Karina Smirnoff (Dancing With The Stars), Jamie Kennedy (Kickin It Old School), Joey Fatone, Stephanie Pratt (The Hills), Heidi Montag and recording artist Samantha Mollen.

The evening was to raise money for Tag the World, a new kind of charity that uses fashion to raise funds. Look To The Stars is proud to be involved in one of Hollywood’s premier charity Oscar parties this weekend. Leeza Gibbons’ A Night To Make A Difference will take place on Sunday, February 22, at the iconic Mr Chow in Beverly Hills, with a host of celebrities expected to attend. And Look To The Stars is streaming the event LIVE.

This unique event will bring together stars from film, TV, music, sports and fashion to celebrate the worlds of celebrity and charity. Special Ambassadors of Change who have used their celebrity to make a tangible difference in the world will be on hand to empower the audience to make a difference in their own lives.

Hosted by Leeza Gibbons, Olivia Newton-John and David Foster, the Night To Make A Difference will attract stars such as Paris Hilton, Jessica Biel, Forest Whitaker, Slash, Alan Thicke, Ashley Tisdale, Brooke Burns, Cheryl Burke, Cheryl Ladd, Chevy Chase, Danny Boyle, Darryl McDaniels, Dee Wallace, Hilary Duff, Holly Robinson-Peete, Jaclyn Smith, Jane Seymour, Joey Fatone, Jordin Sparks, Ken Paves, Mario Lopez, Mel B., Melissa Gilbert, Rick Schroder, Suzanne Somers, Taraji P. Hollywood Knights Hit The Court In Norway

The Hollywood Knights celebrity basketball team has arrived in Norway to raise money for children with cancer.

Pop star Aaron Carter will head a spectacular lineup of stars on the court at Haukelandshallen Arena in Bergen for the 2nd annual Hollywood Knights Celebrity Charity Basketball Game. Joining him against a dream team of Norwegian celebrities for an unforgettable game to raise money for charity will be Desperate Housewives’ Andrea Bowen, Joy Lauren and Josh Henderson, as well as Stephen Colletti (Laguna Beach, One Tree Hill_), Paula Trickey (_Pacific Blue, The O.C.), model Marcus Schenckenberg, Wesley Jonathan (What I Like About You_), Adrian R’Mante (_The Suite Life of Zack and Cody), Kyle Lowder (Days of Our Lives, The Bold and the Beautiful_), Blake Lewis (American Idol_), Chris Richardson (American Idol_), Adam Sevani (Step Up 2: The Streets_), Jon Chu (Step Up 2: The Streets) and Denyce Lawton (Tyler Perry’s House of Payne).

The game – which takes place on August 14 – will raise funds for the Norwegian Cancer Society Children’s Ward, a non-profit organization working to reduce the incidence of cancer, and to provide cancer patient services, research, prevention programs and advocacy. Thousands of fans and spectators worldwide are expected to attend the game for an unforgettable night of fun and fundraising. Celebrities that have participated in the previous Norway tour include Joey Fatone, Nick Carter, Aaron Carter, Amaury Nolasco, Marshall Allman, David Faustino, Matt Czuchry, and Shane West.

The Hollywood Knights Basketball Team is the brainchild of international sports producer David Mirisch, whose idea of putting sports stars against teachers to raise funds for high schools was born in 1978.

Wyclef Plays for Pick Your Charity Poker

The Vail Hold ’Em Poker Event for Your Cause, held last month in Vail, Colorado, raised nearly a quarter million dollars for various charities. Hosted by Mario Lopez, with Wyclef Jean performing many of his popular hits, a host of celebrities competed to win $100,000 for their charity of choice.

Competing stars included Kelis, Joey Fatone and Boyz II Men playing for The Fatone Family Foundation and Lift Up America, and Shannon Elizabeth playing for her own charity Animal Avengers. Also playing were James Kyson Lee, Danny Masterson, Robert Iler, Kevin Brown and Jason Chambers.

Chris Masterson, playing for Citizens Commission on Human Rights, made it to the final round but lost to investor Mark Lotke, the only top prize winner, who donated his $100,000 to the Spotlight Foundation. Wyclef Jean was supporting his own charity, the Yéle Haiti Foundation.

Following the poker championship were live and silent auctions. The Alex Rodriquez 500 baseball bat, which went for $15,000, was the biggest hit.

Such was the event’s success that it has already been decided to make it an annual occasion.
