Brandy Carlile began performing at the tender age of eight, when she sang ‘Tennessee Flat Top Box’ with her mother. After performing unsigned for many years, Brandi was signed by Columbia Records in 2004 and was soon cited in the Rolling Stone’s ‘10 Artists to Watch in 2005’.

Despite her musical success, Brandi has always been a strong supporter of charities and worked with Reverb in 2007 on her tour, performed for an Eden Florida event and helped Little Kids Rock by filming a PSA and meeting some of the students.

In 2008, Brandi created the Looking Out Foundation, a charity that helps support, amongst others, Reverb, the American Diabetes Association and Honor the Earth.

She also performed on the charity song ‘The Heartache Can Wait’ in support of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
