Clarence Clemons Charity Work, Events and Causes

Clarence Clemons, also known as ‘The Big Man’, is an internationally noted Saxophonist and actor. He is best known for his time with the E Street Band, along with Bruce Springsteen. The Virginia born musician has also starred in numerous films and tv shows such as Blood Brothers, The Simpsons and The Wire.

In 2008, Little Kids Rock honoured the artist by naming one of their awards after him; the ‘Big Man of the Year’ award. This is presented to an individual who helps Little Kids Rock put transformational music classes and modern musical instruments into the hands of low-income school children.

‘The Big Man’ has also hosted charity events, such as his charity concert ‘Rock ’N The Hard Place’, in aid of the Bicol Clinic Foundation.

He also hosts an annual charity gala and auction in aid of Home Safe, in the Hard Rock Hotel, Hollywood.
