Giuliana Rancic Charity Work, Events and Causes

Giuliana Rancic and her husband Bill are strong supporters of Operation Smile, hosting several successful fundraising events and campaigns. Giuliana organized and hosted the 2010 “Be the Light” event in Los Angeles, calling on her celebrity friends to come out and support such a wonderful cause. That evening, $75,000 was raised for Operation Smile. Her passion and energy have made a difference in the lives of so many children around the world who previously suffered from clefts but can now laugh and smile.

Giuliana Rancic is an entertainment journalist, fashion and beauty expert and television personality with over 2 million followers on Twitter. She is the co-anchor of E! News alongside Ryan Seacrest and is the co-star of E!’s hugely popular Fashion Police team alongside Joan Rivers.

She’s been on the red carpet for every mega-event in the entertainment industry (Oscars, Grammy Awards, Golden Globes) interviewing the stars and getting breaking Hollywood scoop as well as fashion tips, diet and fitness advice, travel tips and all things pop culture. She is watched by millions each week on both E! and the Style Network on her hit reality show, Giuliana & Bill.

Her new book, I Do, Now What?, was released September, 2010 by Random House Publishing Group. Giuliana co-authored the book with her husband, Bill.

Born in Naples, Italy, Giuliana first realized her dreams of becoming a television journalist at age six, after moving to Washington, D.C. with her family. Unable to afford a tutor, she learned English by watching television before enrolling in the public school system.

After high school, Giuliana attended the University of Maryland, where she received a B.A. in journalism. She earned her master’s degree in journalism from the American University in D.C. As a student, she worked in hard news reporting from Capitol Hill, The Pentagon and The State Department.

Upon graduation, Giuliana returned to her true passion – and entertainment – and relocated to Los Angeles, where she currently resides
