The band includes Darius Rucker, Mark Bryan, Dean Felber, Jim Sonefeld and touring members
Peter Holsapple and Gary Greene.

They established the Hootie & the Blowfish Foundation in 2000 to help children in South Carolina through education, and support school music programs nationwide.

Hootie & The Blowfish built houses in New Orleans for five days of at the Musicians’ Village, from October 16-20, 2006.
