Josh Hartnett has had roles in many films including Lucky Number Slevin, Black Hawk Down, Pearl Harbor, The Faculty and 30 Days of Night. He is always busy with charities raising money and awareness for the fights against Cancer, AIDS, hunger and poverty. Some of the foundations he supports include Dramatic Need, American Foundation for AIDS Research, Global Cool and Food Bank for New York City.
In April of 2009, Hartnett was among the many celebrities at the Friends of New Yorkers For Children annual spring dinner dance. The theme was New Year’s in April: A Fool’s Fete. Celebrities including Marisa Brown, Serena Williams, Geraldo Rivera, Diane Kruger and many more helped to raise $400,000 to support youth in foster care in New York City.
