Matthew Modine Charity Work, Events and Causes

Actor Matthew Modine created the Bicycle For A Day event in New York as an environmental initiative. He directed the BFAD film for Young Global Leaders and it was presented to an audience at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland (2006). BFAD’s goal is to raise awareness of the need to reduce carbon emissions and to demonstrate many simple things that each of us can do everyday to accomplish a cleaner world.

Modine serves on the Board of the Garden of Dreams and the Marc Lustgarten Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
