Rage Against the Machine is an American rock band formed in 1991 in Los Angeles, California. The band’s lineup, unchanged since its formation, consists of vocalist and lyricist Zack de la Rocha, guitarist Tom Morello, bassist Tim Commerford and drummer Brad Wilk.

They donated the proceeds of their 2009 Christmas number 1, Killing In The Name Of, to charity.
