Ruth Riley Charity Work, Events and Causes

Ruth Riley is a professional basketball player for the Chicago Sky in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA).

She wrote a children’s book, The Spirit of Basketball, with co-author Paul Hickey and illustrator Christopher Hiller, that was published in 2005. She said the message of the book was “that basketball is the same no matter where you live or what language you speak.”

She represented the NBA/WNBA in Chicago at the Illinois No Kid Hungry Campaign launch.
