Prince Harry Plays Polo For Charity

On Saturday 2nd July, Prince Harry took part in a quintessentially British day of polo that took place on the grounds of Lord and Lady Lloyd Webber’s Berkshire Estate, Watership Down, to host The British Polo Day Charity Cup where watchmakers Richard Mille were one of the title sponsors.

Leading the Richard Mille Polo Team was 2010’s World Polo Tour number 1 Pablo MacDonough, who played against His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales to raise funds for Sentebale and Tusk Trust, Prince Harry and The Duke of Cambridge’s respective charities.

What do you buy a future king and queen for their wedding?

The altruistic Prince William and bride-to-be Kate Middleton are looking to make it easy for their guests.

“When the invitations are issued, they will have some kind of instruction on how to make a donation to a charity chosen by the couple,” says a senior royal aide.

Charity Choices Of The Royal Grandchildren

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, Queen Elizabeth’s first granddaughters bearing the HRH title, are taking up the charitable responsibilities that come with their station.

It was recently announced that 19-year-old Beatrice will become the first Junior Ambassador for Children In Crisis. Founded in 1993 by her mother, Sarah, Duchess of York, the organization provides education to children of the poorest countries in the belief that it is the essential ingredient in lifting children out of poverty.

Beatrice said, “I always remember the old saying, give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for life. That’s why I am so keen to help this campaign to educate children. We have the most amazing charity.”
