Jimmy Jean-Louis To Ride 4 Haiti At Charity Event

Heroes star Jimmy Jean-Louis will lead a charity motorbike ride in LA for charity on Saturday, February 27.

The actor will ride a motorbike for the very first time alongside Brian McKnight, James Kyson-Lee (“Heroes”), Gilles Marini (“Dancing with the Stars”), Lou Pizarro & Operation Repo Team, Olden Polynice (Former LA Clipper), Jaime Gomez (“Nash Bridges, Training Day”), Omarosa (“The Apprentice”) and many others at the event to raise money for Haiti.

Members of the public can also join in, and a “Haiti-themed” Suzuki GSXR 1000 valued at $40,000 will be auctioned.

The Ride 4 haiti event is brought to you by Hollywood Unites For Haiti and Scorpian Customs, and will take place rain or shine. The ride starts from Harley-Davidson Glendale, California, at 12pm, and ends at Bert’s Mega Mall in West Covina.

Jimmy Jean-Louis Is A Hero For Haiti

Actor Hakeem Kae-Kazim (The Fourth Kind, Wolverine) joined forces with Heroes actor Jimmy Jean-Louis in Hollywood on January 28 to hold a benefit event to raise money for Haiti through Jimmy’s foundation Hollywood Unites For Haiti.

The event was held at the new Cuban bar La Descarga in Hollywood and funds as well as awareness was raised for HUFH. Celebs and friends turned out in full to enjoy the evening, bid on the silent auction and dance to Caribbean sounds. The cause of the evening was not forgotten as Jimmy gave a heartfelt speech about the awful disaster that has happened to his people.

Stars in attendance included Alice Amter (The Big Bang Theory), Ellen’s DJ Tony, director Tom Malloy, Treva Etienne (Terminator Salvation), Michelle Collins and many more.

Hollywood United For Haiti is a non profit organization. Not having a big organization to support, the donations go straight to the cause. HUFH founder Jimmy Jean-Lois says, “Haiti has suffered many set backs in its rich history and yet the Haitian people have never lost the character to face adversity with creativity, resilience, and community”.
