Summary

Founded in 1980, the Right Livelihood Award Foundation is a charity that provides a platform for the voices of its Laureates to be heard. By the presentation of Right Livelihood Awards, the Foundation aims to promote scientific research, education, public understanding and practical activities which will contribute to a global ecological balance, are aimed at eliminating material and spiritual poverty, and contribute to lasting peace and justice in the world.
The Foundation also supports and reports on projects for which awards are presented.
