Kim Kardashian has made a donation to one of her favorite charities with money from her wedding gifts.

In a note written by Kim to her wedding guests, published by TMZ.com, she says: “I would like to thank you for your generous and thoughtful wedding gift. It has taken me some time to pull everything together but I wanted to let you know that the money for every gift received by me at my wedding has been donated to the Dream Foundation, an organization that I am very passionate about.”

The note also contains a statement from the charity receiving the donation, the Dream Foundation: "Kim Kardashian has made a donation to the Dream Foundation in honor of your generous wedding gift. Kim felt this was the most fitting way to acknowledge and pay forward your gift with the same compassion and kindness it was intended.

Kim Kardashian Empties Her Closet For Charity

Kim Kardashian has opened her closet for charity, and has put a whole heap of her used clothes up for auction.

“A percentage of the proceeds from this and all my auctions always benefits charity,” she says. "A portion of the sale from these auctions supports the Dream Foundation."

Among the items going under the hammer are dresses, shoes, shirts, skirts, leggings, scarves, jackets and much more.

Kim Kardashian Reveals Charity Giving

Kim Kardashian has revealed that she donates a percentage of her annual earnings to charity on CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight.

The reality star – who appeared on the show alongside her sister, Kourtney – stated that she has “given away millions” to the Dream Foundation, which aims to enhance the quality of life for individuals and families battling terminal illnesses, as well as to a church that her mother Kris helped found in Calabasas called the LifeChange Community Church.

“I give 10% away to the church,” she said. “That’s what I was taught. Every year. Absolutely. It’s not just about giving away – it’s about finding something you really connect with. So when I find something like the Dream Foundation, it makes it so much more meaningful.”

Kim Kardashian Gets A Black Eye For Charity

Kim Kardashian is sporting a black eye after Tuesday night’s charity boxing event, but says it won’t hold her down.

“The event itself was absolutely insane!! None of us are professional fighters… we literally had three days of training to prepare for the event and thought it would be a little bit of fun to raise money for one of our favorite charities, The Dream Foundation," she wrote on her official blog. "When Rob [Kardashian] stepped in the ring to fight, his opponent was at least 25 lbs heavier than him, even though the organization had assured us that they were screening the people we were fighting against and that they would be within 5 lbs of our weights! At one point Rob’s mask fell off and when he put his hands down he got hit in the face and ended up in hospital with a concussion. Rob’s a strong guy and can definitely hold his own, but he wasn’t expecting to get hit after his mask had fallen off! This guy just got really down and dirty!

“We were all really angry and upset about what had happened to Rob, but I hadn’t even fought yet and I didn’t want to let the charity down, so I decided to get in the ring. My girl was a good sport, but she was tough! I knew I had to do it for charity, since that’s what it was all about, but man, my girl could throw a punch! Look at my black eye!!!”

Stars Take A Gamble At Charity Poker Tournament

Look To The Stars reporter Delinda Lombardo recently attended the star-studded World Poker Tour Invitational in Los Angeles and caught up with some of the celebrities involved.

On March 1-3, celebrities and poker professionals hit the felt for the 6th Annual World Poker Tour Invitational at Commerce Casino in Los Angeles. More than 100 celebrities were invited to compete for a seat in the WPT Championships while raising money for charity, including a side pot worth nearly $30,000 that went entirely to charity in the names of the final 13 celebrities in the field. The three title charities of the event, guaranteed to receive at least $2,500 each, were Soles United, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and Harbor Private Funds.

Poker professionals, including Phil Laak, Shawn Sheikhan, Allen Kessler, Kathy Liebert, Jennifer Tilly, Billy Baxter, David Pham, Kenny Tran, and Antonio Esfandiari (who was just named the official spokesperson for the WPT) flocked to the highly successful event, which is now in its sixth year.
