Paula Abdul To Be Honored At Lupus Event

Paula Abdul will be honored by Lupus LA at a special celebrity charity event later this week.

The annual Lupus LA Orange Ball – hosted by Fred Willard – will take place at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel on Thursday, May 12. The evening will feature a special musical performance by Band From TV, the all-star celebrity charity band that includes James Denton, Greg Grunberg, Bob Guiney and others. There will also be an auction that includes tickets to the American Idol final, tickets to New Kids On The Block and Backstreet Boys shows, a meet-and-greet with George Lopez and much more.

Bag Ladies To Gather in Beverly Hills

Lupus LA’s 2008 Hollywood Bag Lady Luncheon is on for this Friday, November 7th, and celebrities such as Daisy Fuentes, Kourtney Kardashian and Toni Braxton are expected to be among the more than 500 women set to attend the spirited handbag auction.

The silent auction will consist of coveted handbags donated by the top boutiques in the city, as well as directly from the collections and closets of Fendi, Chanel, Hermes, Sharon Stone, Jennifer Aniston and Julia Roberts, and a Kipling white/gold tote designed and signed by Fergie.

The Luncheon will be hosted by Kris Jenner, and include a fashion show by Escada. Carrie Brillstein and Toni Braxton are the events Honorary Chairs, and will be joined by Kelly Stone and Dorothy Ellis as the Luncheon Chairs.
