  <title>Bill Clinton's Health Matters Today</title>
  <description>Bill Clinton is today leading the Clinton Foundation&amp;#8217;s inaugural &lt;em&gt;Health Matters: Activating Wellness in Every Generation&lt;/em&gt; conference.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The event will bring together more than 200 stakeholders from the worlds of health care, public policy, business, education, individual wellness, and sports to identify strategies to promote and improve individual healthy lifestyles in the home, the community, and the workplace. The conference is being held at the Renaissance Esmeralda Indian Wells Resort &amp;amp; Spa in Indian Wells, CA.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Health Matters immediately precedes the Humana Challenge &lt;span class="caps"&gt;PGA&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span class="caps"&gt;TOUR&lt;/span&gt; event in partnership with the William J. Clinton Foundation, formerly the Bob Hope Classic. The conference highlights the tournament&amp;#8217;s commitment to health and well-being, and builds on the work of the Clinton Foundation, which has a mission to improve global health, strengthen economies, protect the environment, and promote healthier childhoods through its Alliance for a Healthier Generation. The Convening Partner of the conference is the Desert Regional Medical Center.

&lt;p&gt;Sports fans and champion athletes from Jessica Mendoza and Laila Ali to Annika Sorenstam and Michelle Kwan gathered to recognize and honor talented female athletes who, through their accomplishments, have been inspiring role models for girls and women worldwide. As part of the celebration, Women&amp;#8217;s Sports Foundation &lt;span class="caps"&gt;CEO&lt;/span&gt; Kathryn Olson, announced that the foundation has been chosen as the &amp;#8220;Official Charity of espnW,&amp;#8221; the soon-to-be-launched digital arm of &lt;span class="caps"&gt;ESPN&lt;/span&gt; that will serve, inform and inspire the female athlete and fan.

  <title>ICAP To Hold 17th Annual Charity Day</title>
  <description>&lt;span class="caps"&gt;ICAP&lt;/span&gt;, the world&amp;#8217;s premier interdealer broker, will hold its 17th annual global Charity Day on Wednesday, 9 December, 2009. On this day, 100% of company revenues and commissions will be donated to a selection of over 120 charities around the world.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Since the inception of &lt;span class="caps"&gt;ICAP&lt;/span&gt; Charity Day, &lt;span class="caps"&gt;ICAP&lt;/span&gt; and its customers in over 50 countries have raised funds for over 700 well-deserving charities globally. This year, &lt;span class="caps"&gt;ICAP&lt;/span&gt; will be supporting a further 120 charities globally, almost 30 in North America alone. Last year, $16.3 million was raised on Charity Day, bringing the total to over $100 million since 1993. These funds went towards such diverse programs in North America as helping sick children, supporting literacy, and funding cancer research.

  <title>Look To The Stars Helps Promote Hollywood Philanthropy At Noble Awards</title>
  <description>&lt;em&gt;Look to the Stars&lt;/em&gt; is pleased to announce that we will work year-round with The Noble Awards to promote philanthropy in Hollywood.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The inaugural Noble Awards, taking place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday, October 18, has announced five new award honorees. The Blind Project, The Lollipop Theater Network, Padres Contra el Cancer and Playing for Change will be honored along with six previously announced charities. In addition, Morgan Freeman will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award. The two-hour event, hosted by &amp;#8220;Access Hollywood&amp;#8217;s&amp;#8221; Billy Bush, seeks to annually honor up to a dozen charities and celebrities who actively support them, elevating awareness of these organizations and the significant impact of their work.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Celebrities who will accept awards on behalf of the charities being honored include Laila Ali (Women&amp;#8217;s Sports Foundation), Billy Bush (Lollipop Theater Network), Kenny Edmonds (Stand Up To Cancer), Teri Hatcher (Children&amp;#8217;s Hospital Los Angeles), Norman Lear (Playing for Change), Joel Madden (The Art of Elysium), AnnaLynne McCord (The Blind Project), Nancy O&amp;#8217;Dell (Best Buddies International), Eva Longoria Parker (Padres Contra El Cancer) and Brett Ratner (DoSomething.org). During the ceremony, each will be presented with an award sculpture, designed by Antonio Banderas, with personal touches added by children who participated in The Art of Elysium workshop at the Shriners Hospitals for Children. Brian McKnight and Julio Iglesias, Jr., along with Emily Bear and Timothy Mitchum will provide live musical performances throughout the evening.
