Garth Brooks Launches Charity Initiative

Country legend Garth Brooks and the Professional Bull Riders Inc (PBR) have announced a new partnership to benefit charity.

The singer launched Teammates for Kids 11 years ago to contribute financial resources to selected non-profit organizations that effectively serve and benefit children with an emphasis on health, education and inner city services, and the new partnership will see PBR raise $1 million for the charity in 2010.

“Having the cowboys of the Professional Bull Riders as our teammates could not make me happier,” said Brooks. “They’re premiere athletes and I am grateful for their decision to use their gifts to benefit the kids.”
