Solar Neighbors Program

Summary

A community program whereby celebrities enjoy and help bring attention to the benefits of solar power, and in partnership with BP, the Enterprise Foundation, and the Environmental Media Association, help low-income families use solar power to reduce their energy bills.

Every time an invited celebrity purchases a BP solar system for their home, BP donates a similar system to be installed on a low-income family’s home in South Central Los Angeles.
