Punk rockers – your attention please. Ready for a bit of anarchy in the name of a good cause? Why not check out the hot new ticket auction on eBay for the chance to attend the premier punk rock event of the year – the Vans Warped Tour. Not only could you get the chance to have the best seats at the venue – you could also join your favorite band ONSTAGE!

The 14th annual Vans Warped Tour will make stops in 46 US and Canadian cities, beginning on June 20 in Pomona, California, and concluding August 17 in Los Angeles, California. Each festival date features over 40 cutting-edge musical artists performing on five stages, as well as other attractions including top athletes in the action sports world, skateboard ramps and demonstrations, informational tents, autograph signings, giveaways, and lifestyle events. The 2008 Tour will feature leading punk and hard rock bands, including Against Me!, Angels & Airwaves, Cobra Starship, Gym Class Heroes, Paramore, Pennywise, Relient K, The Academy Is, and others.

The TJ Martell Foundation has joined the 2008 Vans Warped Tour to bring you the Fifth Annual Charity Ticket Auction for Leukemia, Cancer and AIDS Research. Beginning Monday, April 21, and running for three consecutive weeks, fans can bid on eBay for a once-in-a-lifetime chance to receive two tickets to “America’s most successful festival”. All proceeds from the Vans Warped Tour ticket auctions will benefit the life saving research conducted at The Mayo Clinic, Memorial Sloan-Kettering, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and others. The T. J Martell Foundation, founded in 1975 by Columbia/Sony music industry executive Tony Martell in memory of his son – a victim of leukemia – has since raised more than $230 million over 33-years to combat the world’s three most deadliest diseases – leukemia, cancer, and AIDS. The T. J. Martell Foundation’s Vans Warped Tour Ticket Auctions has generated over $40,000 in funding over the last 4 years.

Bidding in the auction, accessed through eBay, started yesterday and could score you one of 15 pairs of tickets and accompanying stage access passes for the first 15 tour dates available. Fifteen additional pairs of tickets with stage passes, for each additional 15 tour dates, will again be posted to eBay on April 28 and May 5.

Country Stars Put Their Cards On The Table For Charity

Robin Leach, host of “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous”, played Master of Ceremonies for the TJ Martell Foundation’s annual No-Limit Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament, in which dozens of country music and rodeo stars came together last month during the National Finals Rodeo week.

After a silent auction kicked off the event, country music artists Charley Pride, Luke Bryan, Buddy Jewell, Brice Long, and Tracy Byrd joined rodeo stars Britt Bockius and Justin McBride at the tables. The event raised thousands of dollars for the Foundation.

“I don’t play poker that much,” said Pride, who came third overall. “I know very little about Texas Hold ‘Em, but it is for such a good cause.”

“I got beat by Charley Pride,” lamented Bryan, who did not fare quite so well in the tournament. “That was a fun day.”

The T.J Martell Foundation was created 32 years ago by music industry executive Tony Martell, to raise money for leukemia research in honor of his son, who succumbed to the disease in 1975. Since then, under the banner “Where Music Brings Hope”, the Foundation has raised over $225 million and branched into cancer and AIDS research through eight top US research hospitals.

“This is the first time we have had a tournament during Rodeo Week,” said Laura Heatherly, the Foundation’s Executive Director. “Every little bit of money raised helps, because it is vital for us to continue.”

Motley Crüe's Vince Neil Offers Tickets to Charity Poker Tournament

Motley Crüe’s lead vocalist, Vince Neil is hosting the Third Annual OFF THE STRIP $50,000 Charity Poker Tournament from November 2-4, 2007, at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas, and a limited number of player seats are being offered to national Rock radio stations for the sold-out Texas Hold Em Poker Tournament.

The radio stations and their advertisers will have the opportunity to sponsor one winner and a guest to participate in a weekend with Vince Neil and his friends at the most thrilling ‘Girls, Girls, Girls’-crammed charity poker tournament in the United States.

Proceeds raised will benefit Vince’s Skylar Neil Memorial Foundation and the TJ Martell Foundation for Cancer, Leukemia and AIDS Research.

In 1995, Vince Neil, lead vocalist of the multi-platinum selling heavy metal band Motley Crüe, lost his daughter Skylar to stomach cancer. Since that time Vince has endeavored to help raise awareness and much needed funding for children’s illnesses. Since its inception, the Skylar Neil Memorial Foundation has donated over one million dollars for Cancer, Leukemia and AIDS research through the T.J. Martell Foundation. All of the proceeds from The Skylar Neil Memorial Foundation Events (The “OFF THE STRIP” Poker Tournament, The Motley Cruise, and the Charity Golf Tournament and Auction), are given to the T.J. Martell Foundation so that it can continue its groundbreaking research.

Columbia/Sony music industry executive Tony Martell, who was instrumental in the signing of Ozzy Osbourne and Stevie Ray Vaughn, among others, founded The T. J. Martell Foundation in 1975 in memory of his son, T.J., a victim of leukemia. The T. J.
