Adam Lambert celebrated his 30th birthday yesterday, and once again asked his fans to donate to charity instead of sending him presents.

“Last year for my ‘golden birthday’, you gave me the best birthday present I could have asked for — you donated $323,803 to bring clean water to over 16,000 people!” he said. "It felt so amazing to have my fans, friends and family do something so inspiring for my birthday.

Adam’s simple birthday wish of raising $29,000 by his birthday on January 29 was smashed in just two days, prompting the singer to increase his goal to $290,000. As of yesterday, when the campaign ended, fans had donated $323,255 to charity:water.
