Justin Bieber’s new Christmas album, Under The Mistletoe, has debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart with first week sales of 210,293 units.

The album is Justin’s third album to enter the chart at #1 before his 18th birthday, after My World 2.0 (April 2010) and Never Say Never: The Remixes (February 2011, soundtrack to the highest domestic-grossing concert film in history, $75 million).

New York City based radio personality Trey Morgan will embark on a journey designed to shock him into a more philanthropic way of life. Over the course of 30 days, Morgan will attempt to commit his time to 30 different charitable organizations, 1 for each day of September, all while holding down his ‘day job’ and making it home for dinner with his wife.

This non-profit crusade is called, 30 Deeds, 30 Days, a term Morgan coined for it’s obvious simplicity.

Trey Morgan, a well known radio personality for New York City’s Z100, came up with the idea for 30 Deeds, 30 Days while feeling much the same as many around the country. Morgan wanted to find a way to give back and get involved, but didn’t know how to go about it, who to get involved with, or where he would find the time in his day-to-day life. Actor Kevin Bacon will join his brother Michael onstage in LA tonight, March 26, for a musical performance for charity.

The Bacon Brothers – who have been performing together since 1995 and recently released their fifth album, New Years Day – will appear as part of Hard Rock Cafe’s March On Stage program, an initiative about helping people who make a difference and giving back to those people that give so selflessly of themselves. Some of the proceeds from the show will go to Musicians on Call and Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy.

Musicians on Call has announced Grammy award winner James Taylor as the headliner for their 5th Annual Benefit Concert & Auction which will take place at the world-famous Hard Rock Cafe New York in Times Square on February 24, 2009. Springsteen Shows His Heart

Bruce Springsteen recently showed a young special needs boy at one of his concerts exactly why he is still one of the biggest and best acts in rock.

Charity Buzz, an online auction site, is currently selling tickets to a number of Springsteen’s shows in a giant, ongoing auction to raise funds for Musicians on Call and the Kristen Ann Carr Fund, and the 58-year-old superstar took time out from one of his concerts to meet a winning bidder last week. The rocker left the stage during his show at the Toyota Center in Houston, Dallas, on April 14 to talk with the boy, who was confined to a wheelchair. The boy’s mother, who cried tears of happiness over the singer’s generous act, said he shared a conversation with her son and had his photo taken with the young fan.

The concert took place just a few days before the death of Spingsteen’s longtime keyboardist, Danny Federici, who passed away from melanoma on April 17 at the age of 58.

P.O.D. Hold Parties And Gigs For Musicians On Call

Grammy-nominated, multiple platinum selling nu metal band P.O.D. will release their new album, When Angels and Serpents Dance, on April 8, and the band will hold listening parties today, March 18, at Hard Rock locations in Atlanta, Boston, Cleveland, Detroit, Houston, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, Orlando, Philadelphia, and San Francisco.
