Indiana Jones Co-Star Supports School Pack

British actor Ray Winstone, co-star of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, is backing a new education pack being released to schools to help deal with the problem of runaway children.

Winstone has been Patron of Talk… Don’t Walk since February. The organization aims to reduce the number of young runaways by working with the young person, their family, and anyone else involved – and with over 100,000 young people in Britain running away from home every year, that is no mean feat.

“These packs help children to understand the consequences of the choices they make, in a practical, informative and fun way,” said the Hollwood star.

Beowulf star Ray Winstone has been made Patron of Talk… Don’t Walk, a charity that targets runaway children in Britain.

The 51-year-old actor, whose other films include The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe and the soon-to-be-released Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, accepted the position after being approached by the charity in February.

“Helping to support Talk… Don’t Walk is a very worthwhile cause,” said the actor. “The work they undertake and the amount of effort they put in when working with runaways and their families is fantastic… Having the chance to become a Patron for such a fantastic organization was a role I didn’t want to turn down.”
