GALVmed (Global Alliance for Livestock Veterinary Medicines), currently funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID) and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, aims to create better access to animal health medicines for poor livestock keepers in developing countries, thereby protecting both livestock and human lives.
