Konfidence Foundation: Celebrity Supporters

Founded in 2006, by multi-platinum selling, Grammy-nominated artist/producer Akon, the Konfidence Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to increasing public awareness of the conditions in Africa and providing underprivileged African youth with access to learning and recreational environments equipped with modern technology, educational materials, recreational resources, and health and wellness services.

The Konfidence Foundation’s vision is that their concentrated efforts in Senegal will one day serve as the international platform to empower individuals, communities, and nations with the tools needed to build the Africa of tomorrow.

In 2008, the Foundation broadened its philanthropic reach to the United States to help local communities in need during the holiday season by providing nutritious meals for Thanksgiving and toys for underprivileged youth
