Benefitting Parkinson’s Disease research

In 2001, the children of Selma Litowitz, a retired teacher who was struck by Parkinson’s Disease, approached the high school where Selma had taught for over 20 years with the idea of a benefit concert that would raise money for Parkinson’s research.

A second concert followed a year later and funds are still being raised through the online sales of a CD, 38 Songs of Hope.
