About Richard Alan Krieger

Richard Alan Krieger is a writer, composer/musician and artist living in Los Angeles. He is the author of the book, Civilization’s Quotations – Life’s Ideal.

His websites are Crane’s Music, Euphoria’s Destination, Visions of Utopia, Artwork, Writings and Awakening Sounds which are healing sounds to wake up to.

In the music world he is known as Crane (Landscaper nickname) who was a trumpeter and vocalist who played and recorded with the influential rock group the Minutemen (on their records Project Mersh and Buzz or Howl Under the Influence of Heat) and with D Boon of that group (D Boon & Friends) in the L.A. Punk Rock Scene in the early 1980’s.

He is the songwriter/bassist who started the group Tragicomedy in 1974 which recorded “Homage to Nada” on New Alliance Records in 1983.

He has also played and recorded with Mike Watt (Minutemen), Patrick Moraz (Yes/Moody Blues), Another Umbrella (Box-O-Plenty Records), the Invisible Chains, the Rub, etc. as well as co-writing the opening and closing songs for Hollywood’s Veronique Red Velvet Variety Show.
