About Isra Shah
Isra Shah began writing for Look to the Stars as part of her own personal effort to raise the profile of worthy charities. While volunteering for a local nonprofit that assists victims of domestic violence in Southern California, Isra recognized how much the work of these crucial organizations depends on community support and awareness. By using celebrity star power to spotlight charities in her articles, Isra seeks to spark readers’ interest and participation in charity organizations, thereby creating an ever growing community of local—and global—support for good causes.
Since completing her B.A in English at the University of California Irvine, Isra has set her sights towards law school, after which she hopes to continue her involvement in public service and philanthropy.
