The annual Monterey Bay Gala for Make-A-Wish will take place on October 26th, 2013 from 5pm-midnight at Clint and Dina Eastwood’s Tehama Golf Club.

The annual event raised $1million last year to support granting wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions in the greater San Francisco Bay Area and beyond.

Performers this year are comedian George Lopez, who also performed at the 2006 Gala, as well as comedian Jackie Flynn, who has starred in movies such as “King Pin”, “There’s Something About Mary”, “Me,Myself And Irene,” “Shallow Hal” and “Stuck On You”. Guests will also be treated to music by the Greg Kihn Band, who will be performing afterwards.

The theme of the gala this year is “Passport to Wishes” and will feature tastes, sights and sounds from around the globe. There will be both live and silent auctions featuring unique and hard to come by items and experiences. Tickets are $500 and up and all proceeds benefit Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area, which is headquartered in San Francisco.
