CNN News Editor Joe Sutton and Steve Harvey Intern and Huffington Post Contributor Pavlina Osta will host the Equanimity Awards Benefit Gala on October 10.

Featuring guests such as Gloria Loring and Mickey Gilley, the Equanimity Awards Benefit Gala benefits (100%) the JB Dondolo, Inc. charity. It raises awareness of the charity’s current programs and projects in the local and global community while acknowledging and rewarding individuals and companies for their efforts in the community.

The evening will open with star-studded red carpet interviews, followed by dinner and an awards ceremony that is sure to steal your heart.

The Equanimity Awards Benefit Gala honors individuals through awards in various categories including media partners, social media players, lifetime achievement, humanitarian, champions, best story told, most liked storyteller (writer), and more.

The Equanimity Awards Benefit Gala is where people from various backgrounds can connect with like-minded individuals for a common and good cause – to support each other and support our community.

This event encourages others to keep hope alive and remember that you have the potential to rise and shine. The one thing that your community needs is “YOU”. As with the meaning of “Dondolo,” we need a cane or a walking stick for support. This is not because we cannot walk on our own, but because sometimes we just need its support to move forward. JB Dondolo, Inc. is a non-profit organization that primarily exists to provide charitable services worldwide to impoverished communities. Find out more here.

The Equanimity Awards Benefit Gala will take place at the Westin DFW Hotel, Dallas Fort Worth, on October 10.
