Flo Rida Teams With Hip Hop Artists Against Leukemia

By on

Hip-Hop artists Flo Rida, Rick Ross and Trick Daddy are teaming up to help a young girl fight the devastating effects of leukemia.

Six-year-old Jasmina Anema is in desperate need of a bone marrow transplant. The young girl’s courageous story has captured the heart of the United States through the endorsement of celebrities including Rihanna and Kelly Rowland.

On April 26, 2009, Jasmina will receive help from the Labor of Love Event. The event will allow concert goers to enjoy the performances of their favorite rap artist as well as free drinks, snacks, pizza, and a goody bag filled with a free T-shirt and tickets to a local comedy club. In exchange for their complimentary goodies, fans will be encouraged to test their donor compatibility by visiting a mobile blood bank.

Other artists slated to perform include R&B singer Sean Kingston and rapper Pitbull.

The event is scheduled to take place from 1p.m. to 8 p.m. April 26, at the 163rd Street Mall, 1205 NW 163rd Street, North Miami.

That's the goodness of some celebrities especially in the music industries. They'll make a concert for a cause. Especially to those who are victims of cancer and AIDS.

Maybe you can let the organizers know that to help Jasmina they should not organize a blood drive, as they seem to do. Let them get through the www.oneforjasmina.com website in touch with the professional bone marrow donation organization DKMS Americas in New York to do the right thing. They could then help Jasmina and other African American leukemia patients, but now they only will show their good intentions.
