The Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center at UCLA will hold its 14th annual Taste For A Cure event on Friday, May 1, with some very special guests.

Since 1996, the Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation has raised over $6.3 million for cancer research at UCLA’s Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center through its annual signature fundraising event, Taste for a Cure. This year’s event – to be held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel – will celebrate “The Great Wines of Oakville,” Napa Valley’s preeminent Cabernet region, and will feature fabulous food from some of LA’s best chefs.

Guests expected at the event include Kiefer Sutherland, Dennis Haysbert, Scott Foley, and Seth MacFarlane, and the evening will also include a special acoustic performance by Adam Levine and James Valentine of Maroon 5. Gary Newman and Dana Walden, chairmen of Twentieth Century Fox Television, will receive the 2009 Gil Nickel Humanitarian Award.
