Everybody has heard of a Diva… well, country music legend Kenny Rogers is set to become a “He-va” in this year’s highly anticipated Divas NashVegas 2009 event.
Hosted by country comedy duo Doyle and Debbie, Divas NashVegas is a fundraiser for the Oasis Center, a charity that works to help youth overcome barriers that could prevent them from transitioning into healthy adults. Established in 1969, the Oasis Center has evolved into one of the nation’s leading youth-serving organizations, offering safety and intervention to Nashville’s most vulnerable youth, while also seeking to teach young people how to transform the conditions that create problems for them in the first place.
Joining Kenny Rogers at the event will be Wynonna and Naomi Judd.
Individual tickets to the event – including dinner – cost $250, and the concert will take place on May 16 at the Loveless Barn in Nashville.
In addition, CMTAuctions.com is auctioning a VIP package that includes a meet & greet, front row seating for two, one night’s lodging for two, a cocktail reception and open bar during the performance and roundtrip ground transportation to and from the show, with all proceeds going to the charity.
