Green Day's Vegan Shoes

Green Day bassist Mike Dirnt has designed his own shoe, the 45 RPM Schubert, in collaboration with vegan footwear company Macbeth.

Established in 2002, Macbeth shoes contain no animal products. In 2007, Macbeth won “Best Vegan Skate Shoe” from Peta2.

Dirnt’s new shoe features a canvas and synthetic patent upper with a rubber sole. Styled in black, the shoe is classic punk, a modern version of something you would expect to see The Clash wearing. Various styles of the shoe start at around $69.99 U.S.
