Celebrity Catwalk To Honor Animal-Loving Stars

By Tim Saunders on August 21, 2009

Next week will see a host of celebrities honored for their work with animals at a special charity fashion show.

Celebrity Catwalk will see stars take part in the annual show, which will be hosted by Girls Next Door star Bridget Marquardt. Jamie Foxx, Nicole Richie and Melissa Rivers are just a few of the celebrities who have taken part in the past and helped to fuse the worlds of entertainment and fashion into one unforgettable evening.

This year’s show will honor Heather Mills, Nigel Barker, Grammy award-winning singer Mya and Kimora Lee Simmons for their work raising awareness of the 6-8 million dogs and cats the enter shelters in the US every year. Proceeds from the event will go directly to Noah’s Ark and Almost Home Rescue, two organizations that work tirelessly to put a stop to those statistics.

The event will take place next Thursday, August 27, at the Highlands Hollywood, 6801 Hollywood Blvd. For tickets and more info, click here.
