Earlier this year, Look To The Stars brought you news about Billy Ray Cyrus’ sandwich swap initiative for Feeding America.
For every sandwich created on Hellmann’s page on Facebook (Facebook.com/hellmanns), Hellmann’s and Best Foods donated 7 lunches to Feeding America. Creating a sandwich automatically entered participants for a chance to win a $250 grocery store gift certificate. And for every friend on Facebook that you shared your sandwich with, Hellmann’s donated an additional 7 lunches to the charity. There was also a special eBay auction where the highest bidder won the opportunity to swap a real life sandwich with Cyrus backstage just before his concert in Niceville, Florida.
We can now bring you a photo of the winning bidders, Zachary Plastina, 10, and his mother Carolyn McKelvy, and announce that over 700,000 lunches were donated through the program.

I was very blessed to be able to meet with Mr. Billy Ray Cyrus and help this wonderful charity. It was a dream come true which I will never forget. He was most charming beyond words. Thank you Billy Ray.
