Pop star David Archuleta has used Twitter to reveal that he is heading to Central America for charity.
“Hey guys, tomorrow I’m heading out to Central America for the week for some charity work, and don’t know how my phone service will be while I’m there. I’ll try to keep you posted and will get a blog up in a couple of days! Sorry that I haven’t made one in a while, but I’m stoked! I should have someway of tweeting you guys still, don’t worry lol. If not I’ll find a way! Even though I’m not all too interesting lol.”

Watching David's journey these past 2 years has been such a inspirational and uplifting experience. David has not only blessed us with his angelic voice, but his angelic heart as well. He has changed so many lives for the better just by being who he is. He truly leads people without even trying. He leads by example. He is truly one of the most giving and caring people that I know.
I know that the lives he touches in Central America will feel his inner glow also. It is impossible to be around him and not be happier because of it. My prayers are with him for a safe and inspiring visit.

When God made this man he truly broke the mold afterwards. David is one of a kind. And people wonder why we love and respect him so. He gets what he gives. David wears his heart on his sleeve when it comes to humanity and he does whatever time allows him for the charities he supports. Even when time is not there he finds a way to help.
We all pray he will be safe down in Cen Amer; we know he will do a mighty work for the people there. God bless you David.
I can't wait to read about his time there in his book due out in May, "CHORDS of STRENGTH..."

It's been such a refreshing journey following Davids career! He has shown such giving ways long before he became so recognized. I appreciate that kind of humbleness...very attractive!

When he was visiting a nursing home right before his concert, there was no camera, reporter or TV. Nobody would have known if a daughter of an elderly lady there didn't tweet. Some celebrities show off their charity works only when it airs on TV... He is a fresh gem in this world that entertainers try to get famed by selling sex (and producers help them for money), and stupid public always falls for that trick.

David and his fans (inspired by David) have done an incredible amount of work for charities including supporting MS, Stand Up to Cancer (SU2C),Rising Star Outreach, Invisible Children,Dunkin' Brands Community Foundation, Uniting Children, Make a Wish Foundation. His fans even set up a separate charity as a hub to connect all charity work that is done in the name of David by his fans called Angels For A Cause.

This doesn't surprise me! What makes David so unique and a once in a life time "angel" is his gift for giving to others and always thinks of others no matter how busy he is! Although he has established himself in the world of artistry and fame, he continues to stay focused by continuing to do what he feels is important. He takes the time to go Christmas Caroling with his siblings and pays visits to retirement homes - things he did before AI!

David Archuleta, keeping it "real", is what sets him apart...it comes as no surprise to his fans that he is headed to Central America to do charity work...he's one of the most compassionate, caring & giving artists in the industry today...truly one of a kind!
